Albert was an outstanding athlete at Taos High School, and an avid Taos Tiger fan, rarely missing a game.  He supported all Taos High athletes.  His sports legacy will live on through his grandchildren.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army, with the 1st Battalion, 17th Infantry.  He was highly commended by his superior officers and commanders, serving in the infantry as both a gunner and clerk.  He was a loyal soldier who served in Korea.

In his later years, Albert took up the hobby of cane making, which he enjoyed gifting to family and friends, or any one in need.

Albert was known as a very kind man with large hands.  He was rich in family and friends and would go out of his way to say hello or reach out to call or to check in on you.  Our gentle giant had a very generous heart who cared for so many.  Our lives were forever touched to have known him.  Thank you for being an exceptional human being and for being the BEST Husband, Father and Grandfather.  Albert was also an amazing Brother, Uncle and Friend.
