Alma Cortez Grant

Alma Cortez Grant age 24, a resident of Taos, passed away August 12, 2024. 

She was preceded in death by her mother Jessica Padilla; grandpa Michael Camacho and grandpa Michael Romero; uncle Michael Camacho. 

Alma enjoyed going fishing, camping, spending time with family and friends. She liked to stitch, and she was a hard worker. 

She is survived by her dad Jake R. Cortez (Erissa Concha); siblings Esperanza M. Grant, Lluvia T. Cortez, Rachel B. Cortez, Jake E. Cortez, Christina A. Padilla, Anika Bernal, Micheal Ryan Cortez and Shayleen R. Cortez; grandma Theresa Padilla; boyfriend Dylan Campbell; uncles Richard Padilla, Steve Padilla (Richard); aunties Andrea Romero, Samantha Romero (Ralph), Alma Romero, Rosa Padilla, Katherine Padilla, Nelly Padilla (Larry) and Angel Padilla; cousins Eloisa Chacon, Destiny Padilla, Richard Padilla Jr, Izayiah Padilla, River Padilla, Dennis, Gabriel, Ralph, Santiago, Emma, Leo, Nino’s Dolores and Poncho Chacon and many more family and friends. 

Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday September 25, 2024 at 11am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Arroyo Seco, NM.
