Anna Marie Romero

Anna Marie Romero, 65, of Taos, New Mexico peacefully passed away on February 21, 2024, with her husband by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents Joe Bailon of Questa and Nora Bailon (partner Norberto Cardenas) of Taos, in- laws Andres (Leroy) and Corina (Cora) Romero of Taos, and grandbaby Mateo Martinez. 

Anna is survived by her loving husband, Stephen J. Romero, children Liza Roman (Gene) and Krystal Romero (Danny), grandchildren Nataliana & Averly Roman, Aaron Passino & Ezekiel Martinez. Brother Joseph (Joe) Bailon of Albuquerque and Sister Magdalena (Mary) Suazo (Randy) of Pilar. Nieces she considered as her own, Brandi Suazo and Syra Hamilton (Carl) and family. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.   

She was a 1977 graduate of Taos High School. She married her high school sweetheart on August 18, 1979. They have been side by side for 50 years and were best known as owners of Appliance Plus. She always worked hard to provide for and support others in every dream possible. She always strived for more with a smile on her face. She was truly artistic in every way from ceramics to over-the-top decorations for any occasion.   

Rosary will be recited on Tuesday March 12, 2024 at 9am followed by the funeral mass at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A meal will follow at the St. Joseph Parish Hall.
