Annette Trujillo

Annette Trujillo was born on April 23, 1956 to Juan Isdro and Lucilla Trujillo in Taos, NM, and passed away August 9, 2023. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Albert, Luis, and Melvin and sister Eva Trujillo.

Annette is survived by her children Pablo Baca and Jo Sandoval; boyfriend Leon Maldonado; grandchildren Sharon, Shania, Andre and Beth; their children Joziah, Aalijah and Noah; she is also survived by Alfredo, Gloria, George and Lucille; nieces and their children Andrieta, Kenny, Santana, Israel, Israel, Jr., Jared, Adrian, Chris, Rose, Ronnie, AJ, Anthony and numerous friends.

Annette spent most of her life as the bread winner, whether it was in the hospitality or restaurant industry, and later in her life banking industry.  She took work seriously and always worked very hard.  Annette was a no-nonsense woman very well known for her down to earth demeanor, she definitely brought a smile to most peoples’ faces.  Most recently Annette was diagnosed with cancer and fought like a soldier until the end.  After 3 years of chemo radiation and numerous surgeries, her cancer spread like wildfire, and it left her very sick and unable to care for herself.  After several weeks on hospice care, she took her last breath in the presence of those who loved her….. her death has left us all sad and empty, the only solace we have, is the fact that she is no longer in pain.  Annette, you will be greatly missed. 

Rosary will be recited on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 6pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic church.  Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic church, followed by the burial at Nuestra Senora de Dolores Cemetery in Canon.
