Arthur Abeyta

Arthur Leroy Abeyta, fondly known as "Art" to his family and friends, passed away unexpectedly on September 29, 2025, at his home in Taos, New Mexico. Born on June 18, 1959, Art lived a fulfilling life, characterized by his adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors. His passion for hunting and fishing was central to his identity, as he also dedicated many years to his career with the Carson National Forest Service.

Art was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Rosalia Abeyta, and his brother, Floyd Abeyta. He is survived by his brothers, sister, numerous relatives, and cherished friends.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered condolences and shared treasured memories. Through these remembrances, Art will be forever remembered.
