Beatrice Bostick was born on January 8, 1946 and passed away peacefully at home on June 10, 2026. She is survived by her husband, Michael Mcglathery of Taos, New Mexico and her brother Christopher Bostick of Detroit Michigan.
In addition to being a kind and compassionate woman, Beatrice had several interests and careers. She started off in college being an art historian, later moving to West Africa to start a women’s clinic. When she came back to the United States, she moved from Michigan to Berkeley, California, where she set up her own business. Later, she started a women’s clinic in San Francisco with one of her friends which lasted several years. She met her husband Michael in graduate school in a doctoral program in psychology. When she became tired of being in that field, she studied and became a licensed acupuncturist. She was then the CEO of Clinic Ole in Napa California, which was the largest FQHC. Was was given several awards for her work. She was one of the kindest and most compassionate people I’ve ever known. We all will miss her deeply.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
The family of Beatrice Bostick has entrusted the care of their loved one to the caring staff of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos. www.devargastaos.com 1-866-657-4019
