Blas Chavez Jr.

Blas Chavez Jr., age 89, a resident of Los Cordovas passed away peacefully on August 7, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Chavez; and parents Blas and Fedelina Chavez.

Blas retired from the Town of Taos after working for 25 years.  He truly enjoyed his younger years and had very fond memories growing up with his grandfather, father and uncles while sheep herding.

He is survived by his daughter Louise Jacquez (Tony); grandson Mark Jacquez; siblings Gabriel Chavez (Josie), Tomacita Santistevan, Lucaria Sandoval, Miguel Chavez, Pedro Chavez (Porfie), Faustina Madrid (Abel) and Roberto Chavez (Teofista), plus many other loving relatives and friends.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.
