Blossom RoseAnna Billie

d. Oct 10, 2026

Taos, NM

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Blossom RoseAnna Billie, age 49. Blossom was a cherished mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt, niece and loyal friend. Her infectious laughter, generous heart, and unforgettable spirit touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know and love her.

Blossom was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and raised in Taos, New Mexico, a place that remained an important part of her life and story. She was an enrolled member of the Seminole Tribe of Florida and the beloved daughter of Priscilla Jean Hinojosa and the late Noah Billie.

Blossom attended the University of New Mexico (UNM) and Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU), where she pursued her photography and paralegal studies. Her interests reflected the curiosity, creativity, and desire to explore different paths that she carried throughout her life.

To know Blossom was to know someone truly one of a kind. She had an unmistakable laugh, a wonderful sense of humor, and a style entirely her own. She loved shopping, crocheting, listening to music, reading, cooking, and spending time with those she loved.

Blossom had an adventurous spirit and loved adventure of any kind. She enjoyed traveling, discovering new places, and making memories along the way. She approached life with curiosity and was always open to where the next adventure might take her.

At the heart of Blossom's life was her love for others. She was generous and caring, often making sure everyone else was taken care of before herself. She was a loyal and devoted friend and a loving pet owner whose compassion extended to the animals that held a special place in her heart. When Blossom loved someone, she loved wholeheartedly.

Above all, Blossom treasured her family. She leaves behind her beloved children, Jeffery Billie; Valentino Romero and his father, Adonis Romero; Cherokee Billie (Queshira); and Gabriel Billie (Mia). She was a loving grandmother to Alessandro Billie and Akira Billie.

Blossom is also survived by her loving mother, Priscilla Jean Hinojosa; her sisters, Jessica Romero, Jennifer Millan, Willow Lopez, and Sage Lopez (Manuel); and numerous nieces and nephews who knew and loved her as an aunt, great-aunt, and great-great-aunt. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were made brighter by knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Noah Billie; her paternal grandparents, Charley and Alice Billie; and her maternal grandparents, Mary Van Valkenburg Lucero and Albert Hinojosa.

Blossom's 49 years were far too few, but the life she lived within those years left an enduring mark. She will be remembered for her laughter, humor, creativity, adventurous spirit, unique style, loyalty, generosity, and the love she gave so freely. Her absence leaves a space in our family that can never be filled, but her presence will remain in the stories we tell, the laughter we share, the adventures we remember, and the love we continue to carry forward.

Blossom, you spent so much of your life making sure everyone else was taken care of. Now it is your time to rest. May you find the same peace, comfort, and love that you so generously gave to others.

Your life was a gift, your laughter was unforgettable, and your love will remain with us always. Rest peacefully, our beautiful Blossom. You were deeply loved, you will be forever missed, and you will never be forgotten. Until we meet again, we will carry you in our hearts.

Blossom will be laid to rest in Taos, New Mexico, beside her beloved Grandma Mary. Services will be private.

Pallbearers: Izzy Wright, Martin Hinojosa, Tony Lujan, Lito Brown, Alessandro Billie, Gabriel Billie, Cherokee Billie and Valentino Billie Romero.

In lieu of flowers or donations, Blossom's family asks that you show gratitude to the people you love. Tell them you love them, appreciate them, and cherish the time you have together. Blossom would want this.
