Carol Starr of Taos New Mexico passed away peacefully on Dec 10th, 2023. Carol was an artist in Taos for many years, and it was her home. Carol led a very full and interesting life, she accomplished many great endeavors, and was a loving mother and grandmother. She was defined by her artistic creativity and her desire to see beauty in just about anything. Carol was born November 13th, 1932, in Chicago, and traveled far and wide, she fell in love with Taos and moved there in 1978 to pursue her vision as an artist. She is survived by her sons Mark F Rubins, Arthur K Rubins, her grandchildren Amber Eilers, Teresa Lykins, Mark F Rubins jr, Michael K Rubins, Michael R Rubins, Matthew Rubins, and Michelle Rubins, also her great grandchildren, Alice and Olivia Eilers; Amelia, Elizabeth, and Daniel Lykins; Logan Rubins.
