Cathy Amador

Cathy Amador age 65, a resident of Ranchos de Taos, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on November 19, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her father Eloy Valerio.

Cathy was a devoted family woman, raised by her parents with strong Christian values.  She was a school bus driver for over 20 years, the children’s safety was her priority.  Cathy will be greatly missed by her loving family and those whose lives she touched.

She is survived by her husband Joe Amador; loving children Joseph Amador and Cynthia Amador; granddaughter Abby Amador; her mother JoAnna Valerio; siblings Glenda Ortega and Max Valerio and many other loving relatives and friends.

Evening service will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 6:00PM in the Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos.  Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 10:00AM at the Ranchos Presbyterian Church.
