Cordelia Martinez, beloved mom, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2026 at the age of 92.
Cordelia lived a life filled with love, strength, kindness, and generosity.
She is survived by her daughter, Geri Cepeda (Robert); and siblings Josie Vargas (Gilbert), Jake Suazo (Lorraine), Rosemarie Suazo and Audrey Trujillo; sisters-in-law Carmen Martinez, Mary and Ruth Martinez; along with beloved nieces and nephews.
Cordelia is preceded in death by her husband Francis L. Martinez; mother Genevieve Suazo, father Tony Martinez; brothers Tony, Edgar, Alex, Arthur and sister Marcella.
Interment will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 11:15am at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
