Edward Michael Park

Edward Michael Park was born was December 27, 1966, and passed away unexpectedly on December 28, 2025, in Carson, NM. He was born in Huntsville, AL. and spent his formative years in Charlotte, NC. He first attended UNC Charlotte and then graduated with a degree in Marine Biology from UNC Wilmington. Edward made his home in Fort Lauderdale and became a teacher. Edward was a physical fitness enthusiast and eventually pursued a business in this field. He also was competitive in body building and won accolades in these competitions in Florida before moving to Taos.

He is preceded in death by his stepmother Karen Haynes Park and his partner of 15 years his “hero” Anita Vera Page. He is survived by his parents, Mary Alice (Medina) Park of Taos and Griffin T. Park Jr. of Murrells Inlet, SC,his sister Jennifer Park Fleetwood of Taos, stepsister, Kelly Puwitt and stepbrother Brian Sharpe both of Murrells Inlet SC. Plus many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Edward’s life will be held at a later date.
