Esther F Rivera

Esther F. Rivera 51, a resident of Ranchos de Taos, passed away unexpectedly following a lengthy illness on September 17, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Pablo and Josefina Rivera and Clemente and Maria Martinez.

Esther was a caring daughter, sister, aunt and goddaughter, she loved her entire family dearly.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her parents Orlando and Josephine Rivera, siblings Joseph Rivera, Arthur Rivera (Bridget), Manuel Rivera, Yolanda Valdez and Benjamin Rivera  (Laurie).  Cousins who she considered as brothers Steve Rivera (Vangie) and Ray Rivera.  Nieces and nephews (who she considered to be her own children) Anthony, Marissa (Joe) and Vanessa Valdez; Andrew Rivera (Isamar), Camille Rivera (Lorenzo), Rachel Rivera (Josh), great nieces and nephews Andrew Rivera Jr., Lamar Rivera, Elijah Rivera, Mia Martinez and godmother Julia Williams, plus many other loving relatives and friends.

Rosary will be recited on Tuesday September 24, 2019 at 6:30pm at St. Francis de Asis Catholic Church.  Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday September 25, 2019 at 10:00am at St. Francis de Asis Catholic Church with burial to follow at the Dolores Cemetery in Cañon.
