Fabiana Mondragon

Fabiana Cordilia Romo Mondragon age 81, a resident of Llano Quemado, raised in Talpa, passed away unexpectedly August 5, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents Manuel Romo & Sorida Romo; siblings Vincente Romo, Pat Romo, Charlie Romo, Victor Romo, Mark Romo, Fabian Romo, Alvidia Romo and Virginia Romo.

Fabiana enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook for her family and loved to travel. She also enjoyed the mountains and being home with family and her pets. Fabiana lived in California where she was employed at several factories until her retirement. She returned to her hometown and began working at Holiday Inn in Taos. She will be very missed by everyone she loved and whose beautiful hearts she has touched.

She is survived by her children, son Steve Mondragon (Susan), their children Michael and Mark; son David Mondragon; daughter Michelle Mondragon-South (Lee), their children Jennifer, Klye and Jacob; son Edwin P. Garcia and his children Ashley, Nathan, Lizzie and William; ex-spouses Elerio Mondragon, and Edwin Garcia, Sr; plus, many other relatives and friends.

Rosary will be recited on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 6:00pm. Mass of Christian burial will be on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 10:00am, both held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic church. Burial will follow at the New Llano Quemado Cemetery.
