Felix Quintana Shannon

Felix Quintana Shannon was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico on 11/09/1984 and went to be with Jesus on 09/11/2022 at the age of 37.  He was named after his great grandfather, Felix Quintana.

Felix mostly grew up in Questa, New Mexico, but also lived in Arizona, Texas, New York, Hawaii, New Jersey, and Colorado.  He loved to travel and in high school was an exchange student in Italy.

Felix was homeschooled through high school, studied at University of New Mexico, Central New Mexico Community College, and earned his Barber Certificate at Trinidad State Junior College in Alamosa, CO.

He enjoyed cooking, eating, board games, relaxing, and spending time with his family, friends and his two dogs (Miko and Patch).  He loved to teach children how to ski and was also a server in many restaurants.  His most recent business as a mobile barber allowed him to serve his community during Covid; also giving kids free back to school haircuts.

He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Felix & Domitilia Quintana, Ruben & Jessie Salazar, Donald Shannon, and Myrtle Ricks.

Felix is survived by his Parents, George & Karen Shannon and Birth Father Wayne Ricks; Siblings, Jesse Shannon, Kenneth Shannon, Danielle Ricks, John Ricks, Chantal Ricks, Wayne Ricks Jr.; Grandparents, Daniel & Evelyn Quintana, Ella Shannon, and John Ricks; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Arrangements for Felix Quintana Shannon's Celebration of Life:

10:00 am Friday, September 23, 2022, at The Living Word Ministries Church (12 Llano Road, Questa, New Mexico.  Burial following at Cerro Cemetery on Old Post Office Road, Cerro, New Mexico, off Highway 522.

A meal will be served at Questa VFW (2597 State Road 522, Questa, New Mexico) after the burial.
