Florinda Ophelia "Fifi" Baca

Florinda Ophelia "Fifi" Baca, born August 3, 1950 passed away November 19, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gilbert C. and Doris D. Jaramillo; and son Andrew Baca.

Florinda was raised in Pilar, NM and graduated from Taos High School in 1968. She moved to Albuquerque where she eventually met and married Benito Baca, and they had two children.

She is survived by her husband Benito; daughter Candice; grandchildren Brandon Dunlap and Aubriana McIntire (who has 3 daughters); her sisters Linda Gallegos and Debra Padilla; plus many more family and friends.

Public Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 3pm to 5pm in the Evergreen Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, November 26th, at 9:00am, Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:00am, held at San Francisco de Asís Catholic church in Ranchos de Taos, burial will follow at the Pilar Cemetery.

Family and friends who will serve as Pallbearers are, Brandon Dunlap, Clifford Jaramillo, Isaac McIntire, Pete Montoya, Mark Robertson, Cristian Varela and Leonard Suazo.
