Frances Lucille Trujillo passed away on February 6, 2024, after a brave journey with cancer. She was born to Tom and Ernestine (Tina) Trujillo.
Upon graduation from Taos High School, Frances and her father worked in Los Alamos, and she later moved to Santa Fe where she worked for the state.
Frances returned to Taos eventually retiring from a memorable career with the USDA Forest Service in the budgeting field and as a Union officer. Frances remained in Taos for the rest of her life.
Frances was a devoted mother to her children and granddaughter whom she treasured. Frances was preceded in death by her father Tom and mother Ernestine (Tina) Trujillo; sister Conchita Leeder; paternal grandparents Juan Francisco Trujillo, and Bersabe (Montoya) Trujillo; maternal grandparents Nicolas Celestino Martinez and Rufinita (Herrera) Martinez; Brothers-in-law Julian Archuleta and Leslie Leeder; nephew John Archuleta, and great-nephew Tomas Jimenez.
Frances is survived by her son Alfredo (Carol) Trujillo, daughter Teena Marie Trujillo, and precious granddaughter Marilyn Trujillo; Sisters, Prescilla Archuleta, Maryagnes (Kevin) McDonnell and Tomasita (Jack) Cisneros; Nieces, Joby Anne Casaus, Deanne (Rudy) Jimenez; nephews, David Raymond Leeder, Timothy Archuleta (MaryLynn) and Jack Cisneros Jr.; Numerous great and great-great nephews and nieces; Life-long friends, Connie Anaya, Eloy and Rose Martinez, Greg Trujillo, Cheryle and Bobby Romo, Cousin Loretta Trujillo, and many other cherished friendships, too many to mention.
Services for Frances will be held at a later date.
