Gary Oline

Gary Joseph Oline age 85, a resident of Ranchos de Taos, NM passed away October 22, 2025.

Gary was born January 21, 1940 to Joseph and Pauline Oline in Springfield, Illinois. He graduated from Iowa University, Iowa City with a degree in Actuarial Science. He and his wife, Barbara, met in college and were married for 62 years. He worked at National Old Line Insurance Company for 36 years as an actuary. Gary served as treasurer for the Lion’s Club of Taos for seventeen years and enjoyed meeting with “The Geezers” every Friday for lunch. He served as an elder in the Ranchos Presbyterian church in Ranchos de Taos.

Gary is survived by his wife Barbara; and two sons, Mike (Ronda) and Joe (fiancé Christina); granddaughters Ashley (Jun), Haley and Kaitlyn (Cedric); great-granddaughter Zoe; and grandson Chris.

Service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 10:00am at the Ranchos Presbyterian church, Ranchos de Taos.
