Jesus (Jessie) Medina

Jesus Arturo (Jessie) Medina, Jr. 53, passed away September 10, 2026. He was born on June 27, 1973 to Jesus A. Medina, Sr. and Victoria Medina.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Jesus A. Medina, Sr.; his grandparents Manuel A. Romero, Sr. & Idela (Lulu) Romero, Antonio & Pablita Medina, and Lucy Medina; Nino Manuel A. Romero, Jr.; niece Mia Trujillo; and sister-in-law Edwina Cortez.

Jesus is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Samantha; children Rebecca (Anthony), Mateo, Emelina (Michael), Yesenia (Dominic), Idela (Dee-Dee), Carlos, Antonio, Abigal, and Enrique; mother Victoria Medina; sister Sara Medina; grandchildren, Ethan, Myra, Kayla, Richard, Madison (Mattie), and one on the way; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; very special friends and co-workers, Leroy & Lupita Vigil, Berna Jaramillo, affectionately known to the kids as “grandma Berna”, Leo Valencia, Tito & Cruz Duran, Amanda McComb and Ricky Fisher (known by Jesse as his other babies); other extended family and friends who were a big part of Jesse’s life.

Rosary will be recited on Monday, September 21, 2026 at 6:00pm. Mass of Christian burial will be on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 10:00am, both held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Questa; Burial will follow at El Pueblito Cemetery.
