Joanne Medina

Joanne Medina, 60, a resident of Taos, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 12, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Sarah Medina. Joanne was a very glamorous woman who was always making sure she was dressed nice and appropriate. She was very sociable and loved spending time helping others in need. She especially enjoyed spending time each spring and summer in her garden and flower beds, planting beautiful flowers each year. Joanne is survived by her son, Brandon Ackaret; her life partner and provider, Russel Koerth; siblings, Gabe Medina, Nancy Campos (Edward), Shirley Norton and Alice Park; plus, many other loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
