Johnny Sisneros, 79, of Ranchos de Taos, passed away on November 5th, 2025.

Johnny is survived by his wife of 57 years Dorothy; children Johnny (Pam), Angela (Larry), Beatrice, Efren and Johnny Frank (Valerie). He is also survived by his grandchildren Ariana (Zach), Isaiah (Marissa), Alauna (Chris) Muniz, Malachi, Ashley Beatrice, and Marissa Vasquez; his partner in crime, great-grandson Bruce (Brucie); Godchildren Mikayla (Andres) Vigil, and Dave Sisneros; special niece Linda Alford; special friends Ricky Cardenas, Leonard Romero, Vito Trujillo Jr., Lorraine (Danny) Coca-Ruiz, Phillip Miera, Jerome Suazo, Charlie Bonfanti, Manuel Cardenas, Anna and Matt, as well as many loving friends and family.

Johnny was an active member of his community and made sure there was always a clean and safe environment for people to take their families to enjoy recreational activities. One of his greatest passions was coaching the Taos Little League and All Stars baseball. He was also the district president. He retired from working at the Taos County Parks and Recreation, which was a job he greatly enjoyed.

He had a deep and profound love for his family. He made sure his family never went without and then some.

Johnny was a devout Catholic and was always involved with the Church. He was a part of the Knights of Columbus, and he loved to participate in the 100-mile pilgrimage for Vocations to the Santuario in Chimayo. He also got to experience going to the Holy Land in Jerusalem.

He was a proud Veteran that served in the US Navy.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Maria; In-laws George and Celia Anglada; brother Steve; sister Beatrice; brothers-in-law Celso Varos, Tomas and Michael Anglada; and niece Barbara Sisneros.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bruce, Efren, Johnny Frank, Johnny Jr., Isaiah, Zach, and Larry.

Rosary will be recited at 9:00 am, Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Thursday, November 20th, 2025. Burial will take place shortly after at the Jesus Nazareno Cemetery in Talpa with a reception to follow at St. Joseph’s Hall.
