Joseph Aguilar

On November 9, 2022 Joseph Michael Aguilar, III a resident of El Segundo, CA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family and six of his lifelong loving friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Joseph Michael Aguilar & Elba P. Coca Romero Aguilar; maternal great-grandparents Hipolito M. and Lila C. Romero, of Llano Quemado, Ranchos de Taos; his uncles Danny Raymond Aguilar and Carl John Aguilar.

“Joey” is survived by his parents Joseph Michael Aguilar, Jr. and Lorraine Aguilar; sisters Christa and Tabitha Love (McCullah); many nephews and nieces; brothers Geez and JJ; aunts Trinie Sherod and Juanita Aguilar, Erla Archuleta, Patsy Romero, Peggy Romero-Ward (Stein); uncles Charles Aguilar (Patricia), Louie Aguilar (Connie), David Romero (Verna), Wayne Romero (Rachael), Lee Romero (Rita), Roger Romero (Margret); many cousins from Idaho, California, and New Mexico; and Joey’s special cousins from Ohio, Matthew Reed and Kara Lewis enjoyed his wisdom beyond his years.

His loving personality, as all of us who are honored in receiving his kindness and compassionate nature, will eternally be blessed to have been a part of his amazing life.  Forever loving you, all your family and forever friends Trevor Unterburger, Mitchell Harrison, Carter Tompson, Kori Hess Peterson, Phillip Solaja, Rachael Cummings, Chris Reuben, Robert and Rose Salas and Jay Clark.

Memorial Service will be held on Sunday December 11, 2022 at 11am in the Evergreen Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos, burial will follow at the Las Cruces Cemetery.
