Joseph Apodaca

Joseph B. Apodaca 81, of Valdez, NM passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 24, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jose Benjamin and Arabela Apodaca; sisters Eva Martinez and Linda Trujillo; In-laws David and Ciria Martinez and two infant sons; Brothers-in-law Roman Martinez, Toby Martinez, Patricio Martinez, Flavio Martinez, Ruben Martinez and Eloy Martinez; Sisters-in-law Teodora (Teddy) Vigil, Dina McKnight, and Cecilia Tafoya; nephews Carlos Martinez, Melvin Martinez, Mark Vigil and Benjie Apodaca.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Trinnie E. Apodaca; son Antonio Apodaca, daughters Victoria and Amanda Apodaca (Joe); grandchildren Joseph, Christopher, Isaiah, and Monique Apodaca; Siblings Gloria Garcia (†Floyd Garcia) and Melecio Apodaca.

Special nephew Michael Diaz and Family and Special Niece Cathy Martinez and Family. Special ladies he loved like his daughters Stephanie Jaramillo and family, Rita Gonzales and Diana Archuleta.

He was also survived by numerous cousins, nephews and nieces that loved him very much.

Rosary will take place on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 6:00 PM at Holy Trinity Parish in Arroyo Seco along with the funeral mass at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 6, 2025 both at Holy Trinity Parish in Arroyo Seco, NM.
