Joseph Isaac Maestas, born February 20, 1992, passed away unexpectedly on October 23, 2025. He is preceded in death by, father Manuel Maestas, his brothers Manuel Jose Maestas,, great grandpa Joe Alex Maestas, grandpa Tony Romo, Wilbert Vigil, and Frank Arellano. grandma, Beth Ann Durrance, uncle Chris Romo,

He was an exceptional baby and child who always had a smile on his face. As a grown man and father there was no better man around. He was totally dedicated to his family and his work. I know that those of us who knew him will miss him dearly. He was a joy and a light to all of us. 

He is survived by his mother Cleo Arellano, his loving and devoted spouse Marissa Erwin, his three sons, Leo, Nathaniel and Miklo Maestas, siblings Vanessa and Matt Maestas,  plus many aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him and miss him dearly.
