Juan F Romero

Juan Felipe Romero, Jr., age 83, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on January 14, 2020.  He was born in Placita, NM on May 9, 1936 and graduated from Penasco High School.  He was the owner of Del Norte Lounge and J.F. Romero Construction.  Juan Felipe also served as Taos County Commissioner, Taos Magistrate Judge and on the Kit Carson Board of Trustees.

He was preceded in death by his parents Juan Felipe Romero, Sr. and Teresita Romero; daughter Debbie Romero and brother Luciano Romero.  Juan Felipe is survived by his wife Cruzita Romero, his children Dean Romero, Sandra Gallegos and John Romero; grandchildren Ricardo, Beverly, Alyssa, Lorenzo, Carlo, Antonio, Alexandra, Jason and Lauryn; great-grandchildren Samuel and Sophie.  He is also survived by his sisters Alice (Bob) and Adelina Romero (Orlando).

Rosary will be recited on Thursday January 23, 2020 at 6:00PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Funeral mass will be held on Friday January 24, 2020 at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with the burial to follow at the Placita Cemetery, located in Placita, NM.
