Kathleen Johnson

Kathleen (Kathy) Johnson 75 years of age, a resident of El Prado, passed away January 27, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her father Gene Kruse, mother Ruby Kruse; husband Kermit Johnson; son Shane Smith; and son-in-law Dan Dan Barrone.

Kathy was employed by Wal-Mart in Taos and was an active member of Taos Valley Baptist Church. She adored her family and will truly be missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her son Mahlon Johnson (Tanya) and daughter Rachael Barrone; grandchildren Neven Almaas, Michael Mondragon, Josh Smith, Adam Smith, Jonathan Mondragon, Nyle Johnson, Daniel Barrone and Damascus Barrone; many more family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 10:00am at Taos Valley Baptist Church, located at 320 Camino del Medio, Taos.
