Kim Wade Boney went to be with his heavenly father on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, in Taos, NM. A graveside service will take place on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 11:00 am, at Grady Cemetery, 405 N. Hardie, Grady, NM 88120. Pastor Doug Brooks will be officiating.

He was born on December 25, 1957, to Archie and Aline Boney of Clovis, NM. He was the youngest of three boys. On January 3, 1980, he married the love of his life Treca Bunce. They had two children, Jamie Koepplinger and Michael Boney. Kim always had a love of adventure, if it was loud or went fast then he wanted two. He loved going jeeping, shooting, camping and operating heavy equipment. He was the owner and operator of Lectra Tech Inc. for 40 years.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years; Treca Boney of the home, daughter; Jamie Koepplinger of Clovis, NM and her two sons; Luke and Carter Koepplinger, son; Michael (Sara) Boney and their three sons; Colton, Connor and Corbin Boney of Clovis, NM, and brother; Mark (Dawn) Boney of Lubbock, TX.

Kim is preceded in death by his parents; Archie and Aline Boney and brother; Gary Boney.
