Laurencio Manuel Martinez

Laurencio Manuel Martinez age 78, a resident of Chamisal, NM passed away February 24, 2026 after a lengthy illness.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jose Macedonio and Lucia Martinez; and siblings Jose F. Martinez, Raymond L. Martinez, Reynaldo R. Martinez, Ruben Martinez and Josefa Martinez.

Laurencio loved the outdoors, he was truly a handyman and “Jack of all trades”. He will be missed.

He is survived by his siblings Albert Martinez, Sr. from Price, Utah, Tommy Martinez, Lucredez B. Martinez and Mary R. Martinez, all from Chamisal; special nephew who cared for him Albert Martinez, Jr. and nephew Jake A. Martinez; sister-in-law Helen D. Martinez from Chamisal; plus many cousins and friends which he gained throughout the years.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 11:00am at San Antonio de Padua Catholic church in Penasco.
