Lewis Lynn Lockwood

Lewis Lynn Lockwood was born in Austin Texas on April 29, 1946. He went into the arms of Jesus on April 17, 2026.

Lynn worked for over 45 years in the motion picture industry. As a highly respected “A” camera operator throughout the years, he was awarded recognition for multiple projects including Dallas, In the Heat of the Night, Lonesome Dove and Breaking Bad television series and feature films like Three Kings, Young Guns, Crazy Heart, and 3:10 to Yuma.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Leroy and Jeannette Lockwood of Austin, Texas and his grandparents Norah and Lynwood Cullens of Burtrum, Texas.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Martha (Martie) Lockwood, his son Lynwood Cullen Lockwood, his niece Anna Miller and his great niece Olivia Miller, who believed Lynn hung the moon and was her very best friend.

His gentle spirit, kind heart and amazing sense of humor will be missed but always remembered.
