Lilian Baca

Lilian Baca, 74 years old, of Arroyo Seco, NM passed away on May 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Lilian was born July 16, 1950 in Arroyo Hondo, NM the daughter of Tito and Elsie Medina.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother Gilbert; in-laws Joe and Agapita Baca; sister-in-law Angie; and son-in-law Carlos Silva.

Lilian leaves behind her husband Herman Baca; son Herman Baca (Amy), daughter Julie Monroy (Henry), daughter Cheryl Avila and daughter Katie Baca; grandchildren Lori Baca, Joshua Baca, Alexandra Monroy, Ryan Monroy, Daniel Avila and Andrew Avila; siblings Emilie Abeyta, Irene Archer, Tito Medina (Lily), and David Medina; Janice Bender; many other nieces, nephews and her in-laws from the Baca side, Fabiola, Sadie, Marcella, Cristella, Dora, Manuel, Fannie, Uvaldo, Merlinda, Joe, Anna and John.

Pallbearers serving the family: Tito Medina, David Medina, Joshua Baca, Ryan Monroy, Daniel Avila and Andrew Avila; Honorary Bearers are Lori Baca and Alexandra Monroy.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday June 12, 2025 at 11am in the Evergreen Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos, with burial to follow at 2pm at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
