Lorraine Valerio Gonzales Semino

The golden threads which keep mankind alive ceased to exist for Lorraine Valerio Gonzales Semino at her age of 91. She passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026.

Her familia was not only her siblings Nellie, Virginia, Nelson, Francisco and Charlie; son Raymond; grandchildren Tony, Brandy, Lindsey; numerous great-grandchildren, friends at the post office and restaurants which she frequented daily.

Lorraine was a “feisty” singer, teacher, storyteller, proud United States Airforce Veteran soldier, and hermana. She proudly spoke of numerous episodes in her life; however, the most important thing to her was how she hitched a ride to Albuquerque so that she could join the Air Force. All who knew her shall miss her singing “VOLVER, VOLVER” & “THIS LAND IS YOUR LAND”.

Lorraine, we loved you and we will miss you!
