Manuel Emilio Valerio

Manuel Emilio Valerio 85, a resident of Talpa, passed away on February 26, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 3, 1940. He is preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Beatrice Valerio, his uncle and aunt Daniel and Clorinda Romero, his stepdaughter Marissa V. Valdez, his brother’s George (Theresa) Romero, and Levi Romero, his brother in laws, Cirilio Saavedra Manuel Rivera, sister in law, Esther Rivera, and father in law Orlando Rivera. 

He is survived by his wife Yolanda E. Valerio, sister Ruby Saavedra, step son, Anthony J. Valdez known as AJ, step daughter, Vanessa V. Valdez, and grandson Armanni Pacheco, sister in laws Suzanna Mirabal, Jane Romero, mother in law, Josephine Rivera, his brother in laws, Joseph Rivera, Benjamin Rivera (Laurie), Arthur Rivera (Bridgette), Steve Rivera (Vangie), and Ray Rivera, plus many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Andy Valerio, Martin Duran, Delbert Saavedra, Danny Romero, David Romero, and John Jeantete. Honorary pau bearer will be Desi Romero

Rosary will be recited on Thursday March 12, 2026 at 6pm at San Francsico De Asis Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday March 13, 2026 at 10am at San Francisco De Asis Catholic Church with burial to follow at the St. Francis Cemetery.
