Maria C Vigil

Maria C. Vigil, age 94, a resident of Pilar, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on October 30, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jose D. Vigil; parents Silviano and Genoveva Archuleta; and brother Jose Adan Archuleta.

Maria is survived by her loving children Dolores Montano, Fabiola Medina, Demecio Vigil (Cora), Estella Pacheco (Floyd), Elias Vigil (Vita), Georgia Aragon, Maria M. Vigil; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; her sister Josefa Suazo and many other loving relatives and friends.

Rosary will be recited on Wednesday November 6, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday November 7, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. at San Francisco De Asisi Catholic Church, with burial to follow at 12:45 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.  Serving the family as pallbearers will be, Felipe, Paul, Chris, Orlando, Roger and Allen; alternate will be Floyd Pacheco Jr.
