Mary Ann Roybal

Mary Ann Roybal, 89, a resident of Costilla, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband Luis Roybal; grandson, Donovan Vallejos; parents, Modesto and Francisquita Garcia; brothers, George and Fred Garcia; and grandparents, Amado and Vivianita Garcia. Mary Ann was one of the hardest working mothers that anyone could know. At a very young age she lost her husband Luis, leaving her to work and raise all her children alone. She loved every single one of her family members and was quite fond of her beautiful flowers that she grew every year.   She will be missed by all who knew her.  Mary Ann is survived by her children, Lonnie Roybal (Debra), Wilfred Roybal, Jana Vallejos (Ray), Marvin Roybal (Rachel), and Karen Martinez; 19 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; siblings, Mike Garcia (Minnie), Erma Martinez (Vicente), Reynalda Martinez, Margaret Manchego, Adelina Vigil (Fred), Agatha Garcia, and Mary Rivera; along with other loving relatives and friends. Rosary will be recited on Friday October 18, 2019 at 6:00pm at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Costilla. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday October 19, 2019 at 10:00am also at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Costilla, with burial to follow at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
