Meredith Jane Fernandes

Meredith Jane Fernandes, a resident of Taos, NM, died on December 29, 2021 after succumbing to a long illness.  She was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts on Thursday, June 8, 1978.  She is survived by her son Aspen Dow,  her friend Clay Dow, her parents Richard and Anne Fernandes of Rochester, MA, her sister Kathryn Fernandes,  her brother Peter Fernandes, her grandmother Joan Fernandes, her aunt Patricia Gaudreau, her aunt Barbara Flannery, cousins Christopher, Kaitlyn, and Sean, as well as her niece Aurelia, and nephews Richard and James.  Merry was academically and artistically inclined as a story writer, and as a visual and musical artist.  She very much appreciated good literature, nature, simplicity, and loved giving back when she was able.   She is deeply loved, and is deeply missed by her family.
