Michael Romero

Michael “Mike” Romero was called to heaven on January 28, 2022. Michael was a veteran of the Vietnam War, he served our country with great pride. He loved the outdoors and fishing.

Michael was welcomed with love into heaven by his wife Francine Velarde-Romero; parents, Elias and Agapita Romero; siblings, Gilbert and Elias Romero Jr, Irene Martinez, Juanita Romero, and Vangie Robinson.

He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers, Tim (Florence) and Ronnie Romero; children, Antonio Romero (Laura), Michelle Polanco (Bogar), and Amanda Romero (Mario); Stepchildren, Adrian (Becca) and Melanie Velarde; Grandchildren, Miquela (Lupe) and Angel Polanco, Zephaniah and Zoe Alaniz, Emiliano, Antonio, and Esperanza Romero; Great-Grandchildren, Jayden and Xavier Leyva; as well as many other family members and loving friends.

Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday February 9, 2022 from 6-7pm in the Evergreen Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home.
