Monica Theresa Lucero a beloved mother and longtime nurse in the Taos Community passed away at her home surrounded by her loved ones on October 16, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her mother Violeta Salazar-Velasquez; her brothers Armando and Mario Velasquez.
Monica is survived by her father Albert Velasquez; children Jessica, Vanessa and Teddy Lucero (Rachel); grandchildren Angelina, Theodore, and Nathanial Lucero; her brothers Enrico, Rolando, Diego, Carlos and Rey Velasquez.
A CELEBRATION OF MONICA'S LIFE WILL BE HELD AT A LATER DATE.
