Natividad DeHerrera, January 5, 1930 – November 4, 2025

With profound sorrow and heartfelt gratitude, we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Mamacita, Mami, Nana, Grandma at the age of 95. She was called to her heavenly home on November 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, unwavering strength, and devotion to her loved ones and to her Savior Jesus Christ.

Born in Amalia to Serafin Gonzales and Maria de la Luz Padilla, she grew up in a time of great change and met every challenge with resilience and grace. She married Levi DeHerrera and together they built a home and filled it with love, warmth, and generosity. Throughout her long life, she was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a caring grandmother, and a true friend to many.

Natividad was the heart and soul of our family. She was known for her gift of musicality and pitch-perfect talent, where she found great joy, abundant wisdom, kind heartedness, and ability to make everyone feel special. She was never without a word of encouragement or a comforting hug, and her faith guided her and her family through both joyful and difficult times.

She was an amazing cook, and her food will remain a cherished part of our family traditions.

She was preceded in death by her husband Levi and infant son. She is survived by her children, Jimmy (Yolanda); Steve (Joanne); Noreen, Eric (Bernadine); Viola (Gilbert) and Zelin. 12 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren, and a wide circle of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

We will gather to celebrate her extraordinary life and the immeasurable impact she had on all of us. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire future generations. May she rest in peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before.

Our beloved mother’s legacy is one of love, wisdom, and compassion. She will be forever missed and will remain a pillar of integrity and excellence.

Rosary will be recited at Sagrado Corazon Catholic Church on Monday, November 17th at 6pm. Funeral mass is scheduled Tuesday, November 18th at 9am. Interment to follow after funeral mass at the Garcia, Colorado cemetery.
