Nefe Leroy Sanchez

It is with deep sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our brother, Nefe Leroy Sanchez, of El Prado. Nefe was called home to his eternal resting place by our Lord and Savior at the age of 66 following a brief illness and a mere six (6) months after the passing of our mother.

Nefe was the youngest of three sons born to Juanita Sanchez. He was preceded in death by his brother Paul who passed away on March 20, 2006 at the age of 49 and his mother, Juanita Sanchez, who passed away on February 17th of this year at the age of 103 1/2.

Nefe is survived by his oldest brother, Donald Sanchez (Theresa) of El Prado and his only sister, Priscilla Dominguez of Albuquerque along with many other relatives and friends.

Cremation has taken place and the services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 23rd at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

The Rosary is scheduled for 10:30 am with mass following at 11:30 am. Our brother Nefe will be interred at Dolores Cemetery following the mass.
