Nevada Leigh Archuleta

Nevada Leigh Ana Archuleta passed away unexpectedly on April 9, 2024, she was born on December 19, 1999 in Denver, CO. 

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents John & Adelina Trujillo, Paul & Rose Vigil, John & Elsie Romero, Benny & Angel Archuleta, Elsie Cortez; Nana Dorothy “Lori” Romero; and uncle Peter R. Vigil

Nevada is survived by her parents Mark & Lori Lee Archuleta; brother and sisters, Iliana (Isaiah Tafoya Montano), Amaya Lee (Isaiah Apodaca), and Marcos; maternal grandparents Lawrence & Bonnie Vigil; paternal grandparents Anthony & Cecile Archuleta; aunts and uncles Sophia Vigil, Elizabeth Jeantete, Michael Archuleta (Mark Lidquist), godparents David & Jeannette Trujillo; special cousins Jodie Medrano (Carlos), Adelina Reyna (Miguel), Santana Garcia (Ray); godsisters Angelina Garcia, Annale Trujillo, LeShann Martinez, Lanette Garcia and  godbrother Julian Martinez; auntie Lucy E. Trujillo and many, many other special relatives and friends.

God sent us an Angel down to earth.  This Angel graced us unconditionally with love and positivity.   She left this world with a message of “Be happy and have a good day”.

Rosary will be recited on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 6pm in the Evergreen Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos.  Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
