Patty Howe

Patty Howe passed away on Saturday night after bravely battling a terminal lung disease for the last year. She will be desperately missed by me and almost anyone who knew her. Despite her health battles, she had a knack of still finding the humor in the more dire condition. Many times I saw her Doctors and Nurses laughing as they left her hospital room. The emptiness without her, and not seeing her smile back at me, are truly heartbreaking. We will have a celebration of life for Patty when the house we are building is finished in a few months.
