Ricky Sanchez

Richard “Ricky” Sanchez, 49, from Taos, New Mexico passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025. Ricky was born and raised in Taos, New Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his son Ricky Sanchez, his mother Pauline Sanchez and his partner Kayla Valerio. Grandparents Richard “Sarge” and Marcia Sanchez along with Fidencio and Viola Baca. Brother-In-Law Dajuan Jackson. Uncles Feliciano Sanchez, Lewis Martinez, Alex Baca, Martin Baca, and Luis Baca. Aunts Christine Baca and Diana Baca.

He is survived by his children Ryan (Kaleb) and Angelo (Delilah), grandchildren Angelo and Anthony. His Father Richard Sanchez. Sister Laura (Anthony) along with his nieces and nephews who he helped raise Caliana, Abriana and King.

He was loving, caring and full of laughter. Everyone will tell you if you knew him, he was Ricky. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Robert Romero and Pablo Baca were his little brothers he didn’t have who he shared an unbreakable bond.

He will be deeply missed and cherished, his laughter, his jokes and sense of humor will forever live on.

Private family services will be held.
