Rose C. Baxter

Rose C. Baxter age 69, a resident of Ranchos de Taos, passed away July 27, 2024 surrounded by her family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Obed & Aurelia Brito; brothers Orlando, Steve and Chris Brito; and other family and friends. 

Rose was a Registered Nurse for 35 years at Holy Cross Hospital. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and baking. Rose loved to go dancing with her husband Marty, her favorite type of music was Spanish and country. She will be greatly missed. “Time flies whether you’re having fun or not”. 

Rose is survived by her husband Marty Baxter; sister Frances Cobos (Rafael) of Levelland, TX; sisters-in-law Christina Espinoza (David) and Frances Maestas; granddaughter Angelica Martinez (Jesus); great-granddaughters Allison, Zoey and Lilah, and many other loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

Rosary will be recited on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 9:00am followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
