Rufina B. Tafoya

Rufina B. Tafoya, age 89, formerly of Ranchos De Taos more recently from Albuquerque went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 19, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband Horacio A. Tafoya, her sons Everett Tafoya ad Darryl Tafoya, son-in-law Joseph Valerio, parents Amarante and Cora Romero, brother Horacio Romero and sister Phoebe Romero. Rufina is survived by her children Dirk (Tisha) Tafoya, Cora Tafoya, Lindy Valerio, Yvette (Kenny) Madrid, and daughter-in-law Darlene Tafoya. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. Her surviving siblings include Ruth Martinez, Armando (Gloria) Romero, Fina (Tom) Rivera, Patsy Aragon, Florence (Jim) Vennen, Amarante (Yolanda) Romero Jr., and Leonard Romero.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 10am at Legacy Church, 4701 Wyoming Blvd. Albuquerque, NM 87109. Burial at Santa Fe National Cemetery will take place on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 10am. www.devargastaos.com 1-866-657-4019
