Susana C Trujillo

Susana Trujillo 80, a resident of Ranchos de Taos, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her son Larry Trujillo, parents Teodoro and Alicia Salazar, grand parents Ambrosio and Luisa Garcia, sister Clorinda Mondragon and sister-in-law Erma Arellano.

Susana worked for many years at numerous restaurants and bars around the Taos area as a bartender and waitress.  She was an amazing cook and loved to eat, she enjoyed gardening and was devoted to her catholic faith, she adored her grandchildren.  One of her favorite past-times was going to the casino and to socialize with people she would meet.  She will be deeply missed by all her family.

She is survived by her children, Tony Trujillo, Louise Trujillo, Melissa Martinez, Tim Salazar (Amalia), Cindy Salazar, Loretta Anaya Romero and Margaret Romero; grandchildren, Chris Romero, Jessica Trujillo, Maria Elena Martinez, Jeremy Martinez, Santiago Martinez, Larry Martinez, Angelica Martinez, Alejandro Salazar, Mod Anaya, Amanda Romero and 14 great grandchildren.    She is also survived by her siblings, Teddy Salazar, Arcelia Gallegos-Degodoi, Armando Salazar (Lydia), plus numerous loving relatives and friends.

Rosary will be recited on August 15, 2019 at 7:00pm at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church, funeral mass will be held on August 16, 2019 at 10:00am at San Francisco de Asis Catholic church with the interment to follow at the Nazareno Cemetery.
