Thomas Krasovec, 75, died March 16, 2022 at his home in Taos New Mexico after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Ruth (Larcom) of Taos, daughters Karen Krasovec of Colorado Springs and Mary Krasovec of Rye NY and grandson Joshua Krasovec of Oak Hill FL. He loved them very much; they were his pride and his joy. He was the third child of Joseph and Julia Krasovec who preceded him in death as did his brothers Joseph (Bucky) and Ray, and he is survived by sister Regina (John) Panepinto of Pueblo CO and his brother George (Lucille) Krasovec of Littleton. He was fortunate to have many cousins who were also good friends: Helen Rynaski of Taos, Joe (Mary) Kronwitter of Pueblo, Kathy (Richard) Hostetler of Denver, Jim Krasovec of Pueblo, Donna Krasovec of Denver, Patti (Tony) Belisle of Castle Rock, Barbara Aggson of Pueblo West, Joan (Gary) Johnston of Plano TX, Theresa (Cookie) of Pueblo, Carol Krasovec of Littleton CO, Eileen (Jim) Cain of Canon City CO, Janet (Mike) Lieberman of Boulder CO, Martha Ritchie of Pueblo and Francine (Mike) Hurtado of Pueblo, plus many nieces and nephews. He belonged to wonderful fellowships in Taos and Colorado Springs and Bellevue NE that were his core. He was particularly close to the Mays Marauders group in Bellevue. He loved Taos and his home and his neighbors who were compassionate and helpful during his illness. Donations may be made to the new Taos Detox Center at Rio Grande ATP, PO Box 3724, Taos NM 87571. This was a cause he supported as necessary to the health of Taos. Services will be private.
