Trinidad Velarde

Trinidad Velarde, 66, a resident of Ranchos De Taos, passed away unexpectedly one day short of his 67th birthday on January 24, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife, Zandra Velarde; baby child Angel; father, Ernesto Velarde; and brother Ernest Velarde Jr. Trinidad was a man of many talents, especially when it came to building anything with adobes, like many homes and fireplaces around Taos. He is survived by his children, Ivy Velarde, Mandy Dominguez (Marc), Trinidad Velarde (Crystal), and Sandy Amado Cabrera (Pablo); his grandchildren, Jose, Alexzandria, Kaleigh, Marcos (Jasmine), Cristashia, Jesse, Dante, Draco, Emilio, Ariella, Johnathan, Natalie, Alexis, Elijah (Jennifer), Pablito, Enrriquez, and Alisonya; great grandchildren, Ravana and Xavier; mother, Carmen Velarde; siblings, Sarah Tafoya (Orlando), Juan, Michael, and Alex Velarde; and mother in-law, Emma Tafoya; plus many other loving relatives and friends.
