Yvonne Romero

Yvonne Romero age 59, of Llano Quemado, Ranchos de Taos, passed away May 13th, 2025 while hospitalized at UNMH Albuquerque.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arturo E. and Alice R. Romero; sister Lena L. Romero; and companion David McFarland. 

Yvonne was full of love, and kindness for everyone. Her compassion for animals was her commitment. Even through illness she had great faith and hope. Yvonne is now in her glory with God and family. She will forever be in our hearts.

She is survived by her sister Carmen R. Caza and brothers Raymond Romero (Lori), and Isaac Romero (Arlene); half-brother Julian Struck (Kim); many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, friends; Emma, her fur baby and “brat dog”.

Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025 at 10:00am in the Evergreen Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos.
