Obituary

Andy Manuel Pacheco age 75, a resident of La Cordillera passed away on December 12, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his parents Manuel Pacheco and Petronila Herrera; his sister Angie Gallegos; brother-in-law Alex Trujillo and sister-in-law Sylvia Pacheco; nephews and nieces Michael Pacheco, Roberta Herrera, Carmen Sanchez, Devona Gallegos and Chris Gallegos.

Andy was a very good baseball player, he played for the team the “Pot Creek Lumberjacks”.  He worked for the forest service in Bandelier and was a very hard worker.  Andy loved to sing and cook for his family.  His passion was fishing, being outdoors, going for wood and anything to do with wood, until his vision became impaired and he was no longer able to do the things he truly enjoyed. 

Andy is survived by his loving sister and longtime caregiver MaryAnn Trujillo (Butch); siblings Mike Pacheco (Beatrice), Robert Pacheco, Frank Pacheco (Francine), Lucinda Herrera; goddaughter Doris Martinez (Jose); niece and nephews Anna Martinez (Tom), Alex Trujillo (Nattie), Pete Trujillo (Michelle); plus other loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Private family services will be held and burial will take place at the Los Alamitos Cemetery in Los Cordovas.
