Antonio Archuleta age 67, a resident of Amalia passed away unexpectedly on June 24, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents Epimenio and Benina Archuleta; siblings Joe Archuleta (Clorinda), Johnny Archuleta, and Epimenio Archuleta, Jr.

Antonio loved to spend time outdoors fishing and hunting.  He worked for many years at various Ski areas around Northern New Mexico, his passion was farming and ranching.  Antonio was a proud member of the Amalia Volunteer Fire Department and of the RCCLA.

He is survived by his wife Virginia Archuleta; children Arthur Archuleta (Laura), Amy Tiemeyer (Jeff), Allen Archuleta (Janae); step-children Domingo Mireles (Patty), Patricia Castro and Robert Mireles (Andrea); grandchildren Rhett Williams, Zachary Tiemeyer, Benjamin Archuleta, Jayden Archuleta, Kaitlyn Tiemeyer, Maya Archuleta, Carter Archuleta and Marcos Archuleta; siblings Florida Sanchez, Susie Vigil (Elifas), Martha Lucero (Eliseo), plus many other loving relatives and friends.

Public visitation will be on Wednesday June 30, 2021, at 5pm followed by the recitation of the rosary at 6pm at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Costilla.  Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday July 1, 2021, at 10am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Costilla with burial to follow at the Amalia Cemetery.
